Know Jesus
The men who graduate from “Next Step” come to know Jesus in a real and personal way. As they learn to communion with God, they will serve in the body of Christ, form new habits around prayer, read their Bibles daily, and memorize and meditate on powerful verses.
Small Groups
Some men choose to go through these studies in a small group. Most groups are between 6-10 men and have 1 or 2 leaders per group. These small group sizes allow more intimate relationships between the individuals and their inner worlds, their group, their leaders, and Christ.

Ronnie Holderby, Ordained Pastor and Elder at The Rock Church
After nearly losing a son to addiction, Ronnie and his family dedicated their lives to the ways of Christ. The Holderbys shared in a revelation that they decided to come together and invite Jesus to live in their hearts as their Lord and Savior.
Through the teachings and faith of Christ, Ronnie has discovered a second chance at life and uses it to bring others into the presence of God. For more than 20 years, Ronnie and his family have donated their time, talents, and treasures to help teach men how to be impactful men of God who can be true spiritual leaders in their families, workplaces, churches, and communities.
Ronnie is married to his wife of 45+ years, Teresa, and is a proud father to three sons, and a grandfather in his ever-growing family.

George Runyan, Ordained Minister
George Runyan dedicated his life to Christ in 1958 and became an ordained Minister in 1973. He holds a BA in Theological Studies, a Master of Theological Studies (MTS), and an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity (DD). George has authored several booklets and training materials on Spiritual Warfare and the Book of Ephesians. His greatest passion is in seeing the walls of separation removed between churches, ethnic groups, and the civil government.
George has helped to plant 12 congregations both nationally and internationally. As the Founder and Director of City Church Ministries, he networks with hundreds of pastors and civic leaders throughout the San Diego region. He is also a faculty member of Vision International University and serves as Secretary on the Board of Regents. George started the San Diego Healing Rooms and helped to establish the East County Healing Center in El Cajon, CA. He is an author and has been a radio broadcaster for many years.
George and his lovely wife, Becky, reside in San Diego, California, and have eight children, twenty grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Rick Holderby, Elder at Pine Valley Christian Church
Rick Holderby is a dedicated disciple who focuses on nurturing and empowering impactful men of God to become spiritual servant leaders in their families, workplaces, churches, and communities. His mission revolves around guiding men into a deep and authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.
In his various roles, Rick takes on leadership positions, guiding the way as an IronMen Disciple's Path Group Leader and the author of several publications, including "New Life in Christ," "IronMen Disciple's Path Next Step Study," and "IronMen Disciple's Path MAP Study 101" and "IMDP Leader Guide 101."
Alongside his passion for mentoring, Rick has been happily married to his wife, Darlene, for over 48 years, and they have two adult children together. As a Texas native, he also has a great love for baseball.
